Funny Things...
Blue hair...
We went to the Puyallup Fair last month and I had the great idea that we should get Thad's hair colored. Not such a good idea. Poor kid, did not like it. Was upset the whole time the gal was putting the color in. We did get a lot of compliments though!
Binkies...
Thad was at the table and wanted to play with his container of spoons and forks..I also keep binkies in it. We looked over and just had to take a picture of this...David felt he had to "show him up". I think David won for most binkies in the mouth at once.
You know, he looks so much like his cousin Mason in this picture, strong family genes!
The butt...
I just love the "Butt" pictures too!! I must have a hundred like this...Just thought I'd share one! Enjoy!!

Anniversary Trip, More fun & Thad's first Stitches!
We got back yesterday from our trip to Port Townsend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Great fun! I think we picked the perfect place. So romantic. First, the bed and breakfast we stayed at was fantastic!! The James House was the first B&B in the Pacific Northwest and the past 12 years in row has been voted the best in Washington. I just knew we would not be disappointed. We stayed in the Master/Bridal suite, which had a seperate sitting room with a great view! On Sunday evening we had massages in the sitting room. So relaxing. It was great to have the alone time together without Thad needing us every second. He had fun with Grandma Kaseburg, he never even knew we were gone. I missed him so much, but I knew how much we needed this getaway together. Well worth it! We may just do it again sometime..
Breakfast in the morning at the James House is so wonderful...
We had mimosas and tea/coffee in the morning in our room after breakfast on Monday before we headed out to go back home.
The breathtaking view
The garden view from our room
We kept going back to this funny pub that was right down the hill on the water called Water Street Brewing & Ale House. We loved the food and David (through our many trips in there) got to try every brew they made. I myself was quite fond of the pear cider. Just before we left town we made our last stop lunch on the patio in the back. Note: they have the BEST fish & chips ever, especially the tarter sauce.
Thad and I had a great day together before David and I left for our trip. We went to a group play at an indoor facility in Issaquah where we had fun for a couple of hours before we went on to the swimming pool where Thad spent over an hour in the water. He did not want to leave! We did have to get going though because we had a nap to get to and a playdate with our moms group in the afternoon for some fun time in the park. Thad just loves our moms group we go to. We have met so many fun moms and kids. He was not even bothered by the fact that he was sporting his first set of stitches! Three to be exact. We were getting ready for bed on Monday night, (Oct. 1st, why not start October out right, eah?) David was playing with Thad in the living room and he was running around like a wild man. He tripped over his slide and went flying into (yes, again) the corner of the wall! This time there was blood. My poor little guy! I got an ice pack fast. After just a bit, we just decided we should take him to the ER. After he slept through the stitches, the doc said we should probably go ahead with a CT of his head. We agreed. It was fine, but better safe than sorry. We slept better knowing he was okay too. I am almost certain this will not be the last time he gets stitches.
Like father, like son.
