Easter Fun

We had a really fun day on Easter Sunday. The last dinner at the "old" Kaseburg home (Grandma and Grandpa's) before the remodel. We were worried that the weather would not be nice enough for an egg hunt, but it stopped raining long enough for us to go out and really have some fun. The weekend before we had an egg hunt with our mom's group, so Thad really knew what he was doing. He went right out and started to fill his basket. Even Kyle got to have own little egg hunt, but of coarse he had to work a little harder for it and it was for more than just stickers, toys, and candy. I ended up taking all the candy to work to put out for everyone there to snack on; Thad, and mom & dad, certainly do not need it ;-0)

After our egg hunt we went back inside for a nice dinner and great desserts. I just love how wonderful the desserts are in the Kaseburg household. They sure are something special. Made with love by "Mrs. Kaseburg" herself. Have you seen her Christmas candy?? My goodness, she could start her own store. I thought it was all store bought the first time I saw it. Take notice of me pigging out on the apple crisp in the shot of the boys playing..LOL!!

Our Game

Thad and I have this really cute game we play.

He loves to open and close the doors, and tell us which room we should be in. He will pull me into the bathroom and close the door, or he'll make me stay in our room (I think he means time out for mommy). He's so funny! I just had to take some pics of the action.

Notice how surprised he looks that I actually came through a door...!!

Mom's Group

I just wanted to share some of the fun that Thad and I have been having with our mom's group.

Novemeber, we were missing the nice summer days, so we decided to bundle up and go play...

Then we recently had a Valentine's party at Tanya's house. You can tell the kids were happy with all the frosting for the cupcakes that many of the pics show them eating. It was also so much fun to get outside in her backyard and have some "feel's like spring" fun. The kids loved it!

In February too we got to see the Reptile Man, right here in Renton. It was cool to see all those snakes, turtles, lizards, etc.

Thad, the photographer

I realize I have not posted in more than a month! I guess we have just stayed busy and not too much out of the ordinary has been happening.

Thad has begun to realize that he too can press the button on the camera to take pictures...and he LOVES it! Most of them are of just his eye up against the shutter, but I thought I would post one up that I helped him to take that I thought was pretty funny. He just does not want to turn the camera around and take picutes of anything but himself. He is such a character.
