Kids

A couple of weeks ago David was sick with something weird, so the kids and I "camped" in the living room for a couple of days. That was actually pretty fun!..though we did not get much sleep.

I took a few pictures of the girls about a month ago while they were so cozy looking in their diapers and pink blankets on a nice warm "feels like spring" winter day.

David took Thad on the back of the bike for the first time down the private drive just the other day. Thad LOVED it! Next year he gets a helmet and will ride with daddy!

The past 6 months...,7 months...8?

Well...I guess I have fallen behind! So, here is a quick overview...

I was prego with the girls at last entry, and yes, they ARE here now! OMG, to be pregnant any longer would have killed me!
Reece and Riley made there entry on November 24th at 8:11am and 8:12am. Riley actually came first (she was baby B the whole time!) and was 4 lbs., 14 ozs. and 17" long, just like big brother Thaddeaus! Reece was a bit bigger at 5 lbs., 5 ozs. and was 18" long.

The girls have been great! They are so precious and so sweet. They are really good babies, though they seem to grow horns at night, LOL! We love them so much, and even Thad shows his concern when they are upset and shows his love with lots of kisses and hugs! We have been very busy though and have not had much time for social activities. I am staying active with my church group and moms group though, which is a challenge, but gets us out and keeps us happy. I'm getting good at taking all three kids out, so it's not too much to just go play with friends.

Before the girls wake up... here are some pictures of the cutie pies!!

Pics & stuff

So I finally have chance to blog!!

Okay, if you don't already know...they are...GIRLS!!

Looks like sometime in November (if all goes well) we will be introducing Reece and Riley!

Here is an US pic...can't seem to get the DVD on here, not sure why, but we have it. I have every US on disc so far, and there will be one every 2 to 4 weeks still...that's a lot of "inside" footage!

In these pics, Riley is on the left (though inside of me she is on the right) and Reece is on the right.

Also, I could not help but take a cute pic of Thad kissing my big 'ol belly. Just about 19 weeks along and already almost as big as I was with Thad...YIKES!

Want to take a guess???

So I went to my ultrasound appointment on Tuesday and the doctor asked me if I wanted him to take a guess at the sex of the babies...I'm just over 12 weeks now, but he was 80 to 90% sure...

Care to take a guess?? David wants girls, I wants boys...

p.s. I'll see if I can get the dvd of the ultrasounds up on here. This recent one, they actually look like babies!!

TWINS!!!

Wow, it's been a while...and we've been busy!

So first, yes, we are having twins, due December, but we already know we will have them by November.
Also, we just moved last weekend to Jeff and Jenny's house on Union. (you two are the best!)They've had it on the market for a while, and with us having twins, we really need more space. So our condo will soon go on the market. ...Anyone, anyone?? LOL!!

So far things are going well. Oh, and the twins are identical, btw..

I'll be sure to post as soon as we know if they are boys or girls!

What happen to January???

Well, we have been busy. David is working out of town for a while and I have gone back to work too...Pediatrics. So, Thad is starting Pre-school/Daycare while I work 3 days a week. New and exciting things for all of us.

David and I took Thad to the Zoo together a while back and I brought the camera, but it was out of batteries...LOL! So I caught some shots on my phone.

Thad with "our" bears. This is the spot that one gave us a show when we went with Heidi and Blake.

We also got to visit with Bonnie and Greg, aka "Jr". It was good to see them again! Haven't seen them since New Year's last year!! They have an awesome new dog, Diesel, and Thad was excited to take a ride on the forklift at their place.

That's pretty much it for now. Thad is growing and changing everyday still. He amazes me with how good of a kid he is. Sometimes it's like he doesn't even need me anymore. Hoping tomorrow that is the case, as it will be his first day at his new school. I'm thankful it is walking distance from me at work. I'll update on how things go!!

What I got for Christmas

Thad got his wishes for Christmas. He got his playkitchen (I will have to post some pics later) and he got a new doctor kit! Thanks Auntie Heather! He LOVES to play doctor. Here is a pic of him "playing doc" with his bear he got from Dr. Mark at Overlake...the kid, I swear is known there! It seems he is destined to be affiliated with a hospital in some way; wonder if he will be the cook there...??

David got me the ipod I wanted. I've wanted to get rid of those CDs in the car for a long time and now I can finally play my music and Thad's and not have to fumble with CDs. Funny how technology changes!

Jenny, I thought I was the ONLY one that gets excited about experation dates. My birthday, Thad's birthday and Christmas! I see dates on the milk all the time and I am reminded of some special day, but this is the first time I have ever taken pics of them...LOL!

White Christmas

HUGE amounts of snow! We really did get our "white Christmas"! This year we did not lose power, but were prepared this time. Thad says, "We have flashlights, a generator, a fire...", he cracks me up!

So funny

Thad cracks me up. He makes (and I mean that) me take my vitamin every morning and today was even funnier. I had out two chewable supplements earlier in the day and he saw one still on the counter at dinner. He told me to take it and handed it to me, but I told him I would after dinner. Well, dinner was over and I was wrapping some gifts in the living room when he came up to me with the tablet in hand and said, "here mommy, take this!". He handed it to me and then returned with the milk from the fridge and asked, "here, you need milk?". It was the cutest thing! He even returned the milk to the fridge all by himself. He is really growing up. I just love him!

Thad's First Concert-Dan Zanes

Thad will not stop talking about his first concert we went to on Sunday the 7th at the Moore Theater. We saw Dan Zanes for his "House Party" Concert. It was really memorable! What a great time we had! It's crazy that David and I actually had such fun, but we really have gotten into Thad's music. I find myself singing it throughout the day, it's pretty funny.
At the end of the concert Thad even went up to Dan Zanes and his band and got to shake hands with them! It was so exciting. Best of all, they really liked Thad's hair all spiked up like Dan's!

Thaddeaus would like to introduce...

Our new pet hamster, Freddy.

I was at the Factoria Mall today with Thad for the story time and craft the YMCA puts on. After running into Aunt Heidi and Blake (an unexpected fun little visit) and then going to Kid Quest, we decided to go to Petco and look around. For some reason I felt it was time to let Thad in on the joy of having a pet. So here we are, with our cute little furry friend, Freddy. He is a dwarf hamster so he is really small, and SO cute. For now he has to be left alone quite a bit because he needs to adapt to his new environment, but soon he will be part of the family!

***IceSkating***

First time on the ice for Thad and he had a blast! He kept telling me how slippery it was, it was so funny.

We had a great time and even learned that next time we should bring a helmet so we don't have to use a pink girly one, LOL! Hey, it didn't keep the girls away though! Check out the pic of him holding hands... What am I to do with this kid-I guess I'll keep him.

A day with Oma

My mom and I took Thad out for the day last week. We had cupcakes and coffee at Trophy cupcakes in Walingford Center and got Thad a haircut at Klippers for Kids right nextdoor.

Thad likes to pretend he is driving...

On our way back we stopped at David's parent's house to see the progress. It looks great! The windows are in now, so it looks even more fabulous. My mom does not get out here often enough to keep up, so I wanted to show her. David's dad was there too, so it was nice for them to get to see eachother, too bad we missed his mom.
